AddressMichael’s Fresh Food Market is looking for a Meat Manager to join the team at Keysborough.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of:
- Delivering excellent quality and service standards throughout the department
- Managing a meat department within a supermarket or shop
- Experience in a high volume sales environment
- Achieving sales budgets, gross profits and wage control targets.
- Controlling shrinkage and completing monthly stocktakes
- Rostering that reflects the customer’s needs and at the same time meeting department budgets.
- Maintaining department invoicing and clerical procedures.
- Ordering of stock is relevant to department sales.
- Maintaining correct pricing and ticketing.
- Working well in a fast paced team environment
- Coaching and supporting the development of fellow team members
- Portray a positive attitude and show initiative
- Ensuring all cleaning schedules are maintained.
- Maintain the department to HACCP standards
- Previous experience with dry aged beef (Preferred but not essential)
- Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
