We are looking for a Meat Packer to join our team. The primary focus of the role is to pack and prepare orders for our customers to ensure deliveries go out on time each day.
This is a casual role with early starts (6am - 2.30pm approx) Monday to Friday, plus each second Saturday required (small shift).
Key responsibilities in the role:
- Fulfilling orders required for each client, following quality control, grading, and weighing of meats
- Lifting and carrying cartons
- Corectly labelling meats and cartons
- Ensuring your work station is kept clean and organised
Requirements include:
- Work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a ‘safety first’ approach
- Previous meat packing experience is desirable but not essential
- Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and happy to work with other people to ensure tasks are done on time
- The ability to work within a cold storage environment and comfortable with raw meat products
- Computer literate and comfortable using touch screens and hand held scanners.
- Have your own car and current drivers licence
- Full worker rights within Australia
