Western Meat Processors (WMP) is a proudly West Australian owned and operated business with a foundation built upon traditional values such as customer and supplier loyalty and quality product. Our Cowaramup Abattoir has grown significantly since inception, supplying both the domestic and international markets.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Due to production requirements we currently have several vacant positions available for an immediate start in Cowaramup (15 minutes north of Margaret River).
General Labourers
- General labouring duties - based upon production requirements.
- Packing, weighing and strapping of edible products.
ABOUT YOU
- All positions will be required to work within a team-based environment to achieve daily tasks and requirements.
- Previous experience in the meat industry is highly regarded but not essential
- Physically fit with the ability to complete repetitive tasks.
- Must be reliable and punctual with attendance.
- A strong health, safety and hygiene focus and the ability to ensure company guidelines are adhered to.
- Must be willing to undergo Q-Fever Vaccination, Drug and Alcohol Screening and Pre-Employment Medical.
- Australian Work Rights.
