About the Job & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a qualified mechanic with a passion for cars and a proven track record of excellence in maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
- The ideal candidate will be adept at working with various vehicle makes and models, possessing a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, basic and log book servicing.
- Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle systems issues, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities, also using video tech checks.
- Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements.
Qualifications & Experience requirements:
- Must be a permanent resident of Australia with full work rights.
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Relevant certification i.e. LV Cert III minimum.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
