What you will do
We are a multifaceted business fabricating aftermarket 4WD performance product for predominately, but not limited to, the Toyota 70 Series Landcruiser. Our products, along with a variety of other leading branded aftermarket products, will be required to be installed to client's vehicles, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and care.
We pride ourselves on high quality work and you will need to show us you will do the same when it comes to your role at GSL Fab.
As a Mechanic / 4x4 Accessory Fitter, you will:
- Carry out mechanical work, 4WD maintenance and health checks
- Install aftermarket HD clutches
- Carry out turbo and injector upgrades
- Install GSL Fab aftermarket fabricated products
- Install other branded aftermarket products (snorkels, lock up kits etc)
- Fit 4X4 suspension
- EGR cleans and compression testing
- Limited auto electrical install/wiring including pillar pod with boost/egr gauges, spotlights and headlight upgrades
You will be based in a workshop with other skilled, trade professionals and you will be required to work autonomously.
Customers may present at GSL Fab experiencing issues with their engine or 4WD, and it will be your role to listen, assess and apply your knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair any issues found.
About You
- Current manual Australian driver’s license
- Have experience with working on 4WD's
- Have your own tools
- Be able to adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements
- Applicants must have full Australian working rights
