About the role
Thiess is seeking CHPP Operations Personnel at our Lake Vermont Mine near Dysart. We are currently seeking:
- Mechanical and Electrical CHPP Operator Maintainers – day shift and night shift
Reporting to the CHPP Supervisor this role will see you operating all areas of the Coal Handling Preparation Plant in line with the production schedules.
This role is a permanent position that will see you working 12.25-hour 7 days 7 days off (Wednesday-Tuesday). Full camp facilities are available and bus transportation is provided from Mackay, Rockhampton, Townsville and Bundaberg to the Dysart Camp.
Requirements
- Previous or current experience operating within the CHPP environment
- Current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Qld Electrical License or Mechanical Trade qualifications
- Experience operating heavy machinery highly regarded
- High commitment to a positive safety culture
Benefits
- Annual salary $133,837 - $144,116 (excl. Super) skill level dependant
- Up to $5,000 per year in retention attendance bonuses (conditions apply)
- Up to $4,000 per 6 months in Individual Target/Production Coal KPIs (conditions apply)
