About the Role

VenuesWest is seeking to create a pool of Project Officers to assist with projects in the Capital Works branch. Reporting to the Capital Works Coordinators and receiving direction and priority setting from the Manager Capital Works, the Project Officer contributes to projects and initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business areas. In the role you will undertake research and analysis to inform project direction, prepare documentation, monitor and report on variances to project plans and provide project administration support including liaising with stakeholders.

We currently have the following available for immediate commencement:

  • 2 x full time fixed term positions to 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension/permanency
  • 1 x full time fixed term position to 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension/permanency

Flexible working arrangements are available for these roles including work from home options that will be discussed at the interview stage.

Whilst the positions will be based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont or HBF Arena in Joondalup, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

The successful candidate will have sound understanding of project management and policy principles with experience managing multiple tasks and activities simultaneously.
