AddressMultiple 6-month contract opportunities based in Brisbane for Baseline cleared Mechanical Design Engineers. The successful applicant will have proven experience with Siemens NX (or similar) to review 3D models.
These positions are available for an as soon as possible start and will have a focus on mechanical design for a major Defence project.
Role:
- Assist Senior Design Engineer in the development of complex sub-system design
- Component level design from concept through to production
- Conduct component level analysis
- Demonstrate a strong understand of the product development lifecycle
- Produce mechanical designs that meet defined requirements
- Undertake mechanical design analyses in support of product development activities
- Good communications experience both written and oral
Experience required
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience with Siemens NX and CATIA
- Strong understanding of the product development life cycle
- Previous experience working on Defence Land projects is highly desirable
- Hold a current Baseline security clearance
