Location – Geebung, Brisbane.
Mon- Thurs 7.30 am – 4.45 pm, Friday 7.30 am – 12.45 pm.

About the role:
We are seeking a diligent Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our innovative products. The ideal candidate will excel in organizing efficient workflows and managing performance to meet engineering deadlines and criteria set by Cruisemaster. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and conform to relevant standards and legislation.
This role also offers opportunities for professional growth through continuous learning and involvement in planning factory upgrades and internal process refinement. Key Responsibilities include:
• Organise product development projects and deadlines to ensure projects are completed to specification and agreed timing.
• Perform simulations and experiments through FEA to virtually test and refine designs.
• Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function.
• Record and evaluate testing data.
• Calculate cost estimates for final product designs.
• Assist in the planning and development of factory upgrades and extensions.
• Assist with audit, development and refinement of internal processes and systems.
• Identify and assist with producing and/or improvement of CM policies, procedures, and SOPs.
About You:
• Degree qualification Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven career experience in design and engineering.
• Competent knowledge of:
- Mechanical design fundamentals.
- Drafting techniques and standards.
- 3D CAD modelling.
- Project Management.
• Good communications skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Experienced in general workshop practices.
• Off-road, towing experience and automotive electrical systems knowledge desirable
