Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Drafter to join their team, immediately.
They are looking for a Mechanical Drafter to work on resources projects across Australia and South East Asia from their CBD office in Melbourne. This would be a great opportunity for someone who does not previously having resource project experience but would like to break into the in sector. Of course, if you have some experience in the resource sector that will be fine.
This position is open to a Mechanical Drafter of various experience levels. However Autodesk Inventor experience is a requirement.
Our client is an engineering consultancy that works on resources projects across Australia and South East Asia. The company has been running for 9 years and has experienced recent growth which is why there is a requirement for this position. They have a good company culture and they are well lead. They provide a variety of services to the resources industry, including but not limited to structural, electrical and mechanical design consulting.

Responsibilities:
· Mechanical design/drafting using AutoDesk Inventor on resources projects (this may include steel structures and other mechanical structures)
· Manage daily tasks in an efficient manner
· Liaise with other engineering departments
· Prepare scope of works, testing procedures and methodologies and other necessary discipline reports.
Required Skills:
· 2+ years previous experience in Mechanical Drafting
· Previous experience and knowledge of Inventor
· Good work ethic and openness to working in a contract position
