ADE Power Ltd is a Generator and Switchgear Acoustic housing specialist responsible for the design, manufacture, installation, and service of our unique products.
To support our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Responsible for working on all stages of our production cycles, from research and design to manufacturing, installation and evaluation.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Design systems and components that meet the needs and requirements of the job.
- Produce outline designs.
- Analyse problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to resolve them.
- Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.
- Prepare technical documentation for production.
- Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions.
To be successful for this role you will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering
- Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering in the building/construction industry
- Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools e.g. AutoCAD
- Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
