The Role
Due to continued rapid business growth, we are looking to strengthen our fast-paced commercial projects team. You will work closely with customers, architects, interior designers, suppliers and our sales and project team on preparing project montages, pitch presentations, estimates for new concept designs and innovations that can be visualised by our in house studio.
You will translate design briefs and concepts into practical designs for effective manufacture and deployment. Your ability to work closely with team members as well as independently to get the projects successfully completed is essential.
Skills and Experience
- Engineering/Industrial Design qualifications or experience
- Parametric 3D/CAD proficient (Fusion, Inventor, Solidworks)
- Estimating, budgets and project management
- Liaising with overseas and local manufacturing/fabricators
- Point of sale, retail fitout, digital signage integration
- Experience with sheet metal, extrusion profiles and plastics design
- Designing and maintaining product families/parts assembly
- Manufacturing, shop drawings and installation instructions
