All Energy Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be working on exciting solar farm and wind farm projects, where you will be responsible for completing set outs, working with underground cables, and reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Analysing functional statements, organisational charts, and project details to ascertain the roles and responsibilities of employees and departments, and pinpointing areas of redundancy.
- Developing work measurement initiatives and evaluating work samples to create benchmarks for labour efficiency.
- Assessing workforce allocation, facility layout, operational data, production schedules, and expenses to optimise both employee and equipment productivity.
- Crafting designs for mechanical equipment, machinery, components, manufactured products, and construction systems.
- Drafting manufacturing specifications, determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and plant/system layouts.
- Coordinating project labour management and overseeing the procurement and delivery of materials, machinery, and equipment.
- Establishing guidelines and protocols for installation, modification, quality assurance, testing, inspection, and maintenance in adherence to engineering standards and safety protocols.
- Conducting inspections of facilities to ensure optimal performance is sustained.
- Supervising the maintenance of plant infrastructure and equipment, and orchestrating the needs for new designs, assessments, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
- Understanding of engineering design principles and techniques
- Experience with underground cable installations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
