Located in Carrum Downs, this business is proudly Australian-owned and dedicated to crafting top-quality powdered and liquid milk products. They specialise in a variety of dairy products designed for all age groups, from babies to seniors, and their products are available both domestic and international markets.
You will play a key role in driving process improvement initiatives and managing engineering projects to enhance the manufacturing capabilities. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization, develop project plans, and implement solutions to drive efficiency, quality, and safety.
Span of hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am start on Day shift with flexibility to work afternoon shift when required up to 6pm but is negotiable.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conducting process assessments and identifying areas for improvement in our manufacturing processes
- Developing project proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource requirements
- Managing engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline
- Collaborating with production teams to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows
- Leading process validation activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Providing technical support, attending to general breakdowns and preventative maintenance
Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated project delivery within the dairy, food, or beverage manufacturing
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
