In this senior position, reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be entrusted with:

• Designing pioneering, precise, and economically viable mechanical solutions, adhering to project deadlines and financial plans.
• Employing advanced PTC Creo CAD software to draft detailed engineering schematics and supply meticulous manufacturing drawings.
• Refining production practices and procedures with acute engineering insights.
• Leading the charge in machine equipment enhancement, from setup and start-up to training and system integration.
• Spearheading Mechanical Project teams and partnering with manufacturing units to uplift design standards.
• Supervising the maintenance and growth of our extensive drawing libraries and product documentation.
• Authenticating our bespoke machinery offerings with engineered resolutions.
• Providing assertive technical support to our sales and service divisions.
• Embedding yourself in our culture of continuous improvement and compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Upholding superior safety benchmarks in machine designs, in line with AS/NZS 4024.1-2014 standards.

Your background should illustrate:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• RPEQ Certification.
• 7+ years' robust experience in mechanical design with an emphasis on the packaging sector.
• Mastery in PTC Creo and Windchill software, showcasing the capacity to forge intricate schematics and execute simulations and analyses.
• Profound knowledge of manufacturing methodologies and materials associated with packaging machinery.
• Expectational problems solving acumen with an inventive approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
• Project management prowess, inclusive of coordinating team efforts and observing project timelines.
• Eloquent communication talents for seamless collaboration with stakeholders across all professional hierarchies.
