Mechanical Engineer - Materials Handling

Your role will focus on an exciting and diverse array of projects, including mine, rail, port, tailings and non-process infrastructure. • Undertaking mechanical design, documentation and construction support work on engineering projects through all project phases
• Contributing to the development of GHD's knowledge and skills in Mechanical Engineering
• Assisting the Mechanical Team Lead in promotion of GHD's strategy, business ethics and values to the staff within the Service Groups
• Contributing to the teams ongoing commercial success with clients, from tender submissions and continued focus on client engagement and relationship building

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• 2 - 8 years resource market experience, with a focus on Materials Handling
• Experience with Ansys CFD, Fluidflow 3 and Solidworks is favourable
• Experience with WA's Iron Ore Producers or major miners is well regarded, as is experience in a similar consulting organisation
• Ability to work with all levels including the potential to mentor/guide graduate engineers
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, open communication
• Focus on client service, good people relationship and networking skills
