Mechanical Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/NDT Technician to work in Perth and regional WA.

Essential Criteria: NDT Technician

• Current ISO 9712 AINDT or PCN Level II Certification in MT, UT 2(Welds) & PT
• 2+ years of NDT based experience.
• Working at Heights ticket
• Working in Confined Spaces ticket
• Current driver’s license
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• A commitment to OH&S in the workplace
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate as a team player as well as work autonomously.

Essential Criteria: Mechanical Engineer

• Conduct preventative maintenance activities and proactively identify, analyze, and recommend solutions.
• Complete initial inspections and equipment testing, fault finding and technical reporting as a first responder to customer equipment issues.
• Provide assistance with commissioning and planned developments including assistance with site requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on customer requirements.
• Create and maintain long-term relationships with customers and team members.
• Actively promote Schenck Process's range of products and services when providing advice and support

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Must have Welding Inspection Experience
• Must have CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection 
• Practical experience in mechanical maintenance, operation or similar
• Passion for providing high-quality service and engineering support to customers.

Desirable Requirements:

• Basic Fire Training ticket
• High Risk License
• Gas Test Atmosphere ticket
• Mining industry experience
