Your New Role
- This role will see you building on your existing HVAC technical and engineering skills and using your strong key client focus to liaise with internal staff as well as key stake holders in large building companies.
- You will be working on Commercial Projects and some high rise residential.
- You will enjoy ongoing access to industry leading mentors and your ability to design systems that meet tender requirements will stand you in good stead for career progression.
- You will participate in early tender process meetings regarding concepts
- You will prepare and review engineering documentation from heat load calculations, layouts and designs and for compliance and buildability purposes

- 2 years post grad Mechanical Design Engineer experience with a HVAC contractor or mechanical consultants.
- Tertiary Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years Australian HVAC oriented Mechanical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Blubeam, Camel and Revit
- The ability to come up with "value ideas" around design and then convert conceptual ideas into engineered systems that add true ROI and efficient Total cost of ownership will be highly regarded.
- You are able to work across multiple project and get along with people of all persuasions.
- You are outgoing, friendly and have exceptional communication skills.
- You have high attention to detail and know how the mechanical contracting market works and why this role is essential to it.
- You are a self motivated team player, who enjoys working in a team and can be relied upon to deliver highly technical work and also be willing to role your sleeves up and do simple calculations when the team requires it.
