Mechanical Engineering Apprentice

Our host company has been established for over 40 years and are looking for an Engineering Mechanical Apprentice to join their team. Specialising in all Industrial pump rebuilds, repairs and protective coatings.
Job Location: Hallam

• Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
• Operate and adjust metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
• Using hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines
• Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
• Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies
• Operating lathes, machining centres, sheet metal folders, and benders
• Wide variety of welding practices including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Completion of Year 10 High School
• Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
