Apprenticeship Careers Australia are seeking to employ a 1st year Engineering apprentice to undertake a Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering. We have partnered with located in Dandenong South Victoria.
Together we are looking for individuals who are motivated and committed to Engineering Mechanical trade, who demonstrate drive and passion for the industry.
About the role
As a 1st year apprentice, you will be trained in using precision equipment to produce a variety of metal items for a broad range of applications. The successful applicants will be trained to gain their Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade qualification.
During the 4-year apprenticeship you will work alongside a qualified trades team to gain hands on experience in all facets of the trade. Tasks throughout the apprenticeship working with tradespeople to repair and overhaul OEM Mechanical product which include but are not limited to, Couplers, Transmissions, Gear boxes, Coolers, from Rail and Tram sectors. Working with industry products in mining and power, oil and gas sectors.
