• Remuneration: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum

Jacksons Australia specialise in consultation, design and manufacture of shelters, animal housing, silos, structural fabrication, and fabrication of a range of aluminium trays, boxes, drawers and canopies with the addition of the "Carry Me Camper" slide on camper.

They are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Draftsman to join their team in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting consulting Mechanical Engineers in the design of mechanical and plant equipment;
• Collecting and analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagrams;
• Creating detailed and accurate drawings based on engineering designs and specifications under the direction of the consulting Mechanical Engineers;
• Ensuring that designs and drawings are accurate, complete and compliant with contract provisions, industry standards and regulations;
• Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements for finalised designs;
• Liaising with the sales and production team to understand project requirements and specifications;
• Maintaining an organised drawing database, including record keeping of designs, their revisions and improvements;
• Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant equipment;
• Selecting tools and equipment appropriate for the engineering designs;
• Transforming engineering concepts and ideas into detailed and accurate drawings.

To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a relevant Diploma level or higher qualification and at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment experience OR at least three years of relevant employment experience as a Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson.

This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $75,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
