About the Role
We currently have an available position for aMechanical Engineering Draftsperson based in our Brisbane office. Experience in the construction industry specific to mechanical services is required.
Our Organisation provides an opportunity for you to work in a supportive environment with dynamic professionals in an engineering role. The role will support you in your growth as a professional as you’ll be working alongside some of the industry’s best and brightest in the field.
The key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the project drafter and design modeller representative on project teams responsible for the delivery projects.
- Modelling and Designing in Mechanical Services.
- Drawings setups and background updates for new and current projects.
- Management of drafting standards including organisation of drafting review checks with team members.
- Provision of clash detection reviews and reports and management of clash rectification with team.
- Provision of CAD and REVIT trouble shooting assistance through internal teaching and guidance to modelling team members.
- Assisting to train and develop team members in use of CAD and REVIT.
- Continued development of templates and families in REVIT software.
About You
This role would suit a Modeller with Mechanical Services experience, who excels when working in teams and has a focus on adding value to our clients’ projects.
You will require the following:
- Australian-recognised degree or TAFE course in building design drafting or equivalent.
- Previous experience in building services consultancy.
- Strong team attitude and willingness to be open and engaging with team members.
- 1-5 years drafting experience.
- 1-5 years REVIT MEP experience.
