What does a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Water do?
Sizing of Mechanical equipment.
Design of Mechanical Systems on projects
Review site constraints and requirements for Mechanical systems.
Create drawings and schematics of projects using CAD software.
Review 3D CAD models against project P&ID’s.
Calculations for pump hydraulics and review pump curves.
Create Mechanical equipment data sheets, schedules, and review recommended vendor data.
Carry out site visits, under supervision of a senior engineer, to understand the construction constraints.
Follow Stantec's HSSE policies on site and in the office.
