What you will doAs an integral member of the Corporate Applications Team, you will:
- Contribute to the design, delivery and documentation of high level Infrastructure solutions for applications operating within Service Delivery Corporate Programs that are cost effective, supportable and meet customer expectations.
- Implement automated procedures to improve operational capability, provide self service capabilities and drive improvements in service delivery, including keeping abreast of industry trends and standards in DevOps tools.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and provide plain language advice on complex technical issues to non-technical audiences to enable informed business decisions and outcomes.
- Setup performance monitoring metrics for infrastructure including regular performance reporting to ensure environments are operated according to SLA’s.
- Provide technical input into the resolution of complex Infrastructure related issues.
- Provide technical leadership on infrastructure automation tools and processes.
About youWe are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Demonstrated experience and working knowledge in infrastructure platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google and Oracle Cloud.
- Extensive experience of technologies within Amazon Web Services, including EC2, VPC and Cloudformation, CodeCommit and Systems Manager, Route53, Load Balancers and CodePipeline.
- Demonstrated experience of advanced systems administration using configuration management tools and programming languages such as CFEngine, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Unix Shell or Powershell.
- Experience and working knowledge as a Systems Engineer in the installation, configuration and operational support of solutions with Windows Server/Desktop, Linux, Application Packaging, Patching, and general networking.
- Extensive experience in the operational management and support of Enterprise Applications like Oracle E-Business suite hosting on Cloud platform, in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation.
- Sound interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging key stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Proven capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and work within an operational support business unit.
