Address ConsultANZ is seeking Mechanical Engineering Technicians for a client to work on diverse projects in Victoria in an onsite capacity.

Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
Carry out maintenance repairs and modifications on machinery, and equipment.
Perform regular tests, inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery and collect test data for analysis.
Prepare mechanical diagnostic reports; provide feedback to relevant work units.
Coordinate and supervise the inspection and maintenance of machinery being carried out by external contractors.
Install, replace, or repair major equipment components, mechanical assemblies, and hydraulic control systems.
Maintain and update records of work performed on machineriny and euipment.
Interpret technical drawings and identify appropriate tooling and techniques to implement modifications or repairs.
Maintain high standards of practice and awareness in relation to Quality Assurance and safety management.
Order and collect mechanical parts, equipment and tools
Train other staff members on correct operating procedures to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
Onsite callout and breakdown problem solving, troubleshooting and repairs.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring into the role:
Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the similar role.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams
Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic systems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Leadership / Supervisory experience
