We have an exciting opportunity available for an Mechanical Technicians to join the Operations & Maintenance team in the Pilbra on a 15/13 roster.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, reliability and improvement of plant and transmission pipeline systems under management by Our client to meet customer requirements. You will be travelling through remote area of WA as you move between facilities which include self contained accommodation. Daily tasks will be a mixture of work that requires you to be able to execute your assigned tasks which may be by yourself or in a small team with minimal supervision.
The main duties include:
- Instrumentation checks and calibration
- Maintenance tasks; gas turbines
- Maintaining gas supply
- Assisting other trades
- Maintenance of facility
- Patrol of pipelines
- Trouble shooting
- Plant operation
To be considered for this role, you need to have the following:
- Must have relevant Australian recognized trade certificate
- 2 years' experience as a qualified tradesperson
- Have a manual driver's licence
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- A high degree of self-motivation.
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Adhering to strict safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Have a police clearance
- 2 X valid references
- Ability to Pass and Drug and Alcohol
- Ability to Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
- Have full working right in Australia

- $90 per hour + super
- $118 per day allowance
