Mechanical Fitter (Afternoon Shift) - Villawood

This role is responsible for providing effective support in the maintenance and repair of the production line, ensuring the achievement of factory production targets.
What you’ll be working on
Providing mechanical and preventative maintenance
Respond in a timely manner to breakdowns, inspect and identify root cause and rectify to limit production downtime
Monitor maintenance spares and advise accordingly for re-order
Report quality issues to ensure our products maintain high standards
Adhere to safe work practices and take steps to identify hazards and report incidents
Be involved in and lead process improvement activities as required
What you’ll bring
Trade Mechanical Fitter qualified
Electrical Connect/Disconnect Licence (Desirable)
High-Risk Work Permit -working platform, confined space & riggers (Desirable)
Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred

The shift hours will be 2:00pm – 10:30pm Monday to Friday based at our Villawood site. Occasional travel to our site in Ingleburn may be required.
