Job Description
We are actively seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for an immediate start at our Tanami operations in the Northern Territory. This is a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) role on a 2:1 roster.
This role is open to candidates based in Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth with charter flights leaving from these locations only.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Install and align a range of pumps, motors and gearboxes etc
- Install small threaded pipe to large bore piping, roll grooved piping, vicpress and mapress stainless tube
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Be willing to pick up other general duties as required
- Work in a team environment with a variety of different trades
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
- High-Risk Work License with WP, Forklift and Dogging or Rigging would be advantageous
- Working at Heights certification, obtained within 2 years
- Experience working on construction projects in the mining sector
- 2+ years of industrial experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Nationally Recognised Construction Industry Induction Card
