The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for the maintenance Fixed Plants such as screens, conveyors and balers and troubleshooting of plant equipment and machinery. Your responsibilities will also include:
Fault/maintenance diagnostic activities and complete repairs to ensure continuous operation
Ability to work overtime in case of break down and plant shutdown as required
Carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance activities
Recommend and implement improvements to plant and work practises
Clean and maintain the condition of workshop and spare parts store
Participate in the development of total production maintenance system
About You
Full Australian work rights
Mechanical Fitter qualification/ Certificate III in Engineering (highly regarded)
Forklift Lift, EWP, Working at Heights (highly regarded)
Confined Space (Preferred)
Restricted WA Electrical license (advantageous)
Fabrication and welding skills (Mig, Arc and Oxy Cutting) (highly regarded)
Experience in fitting and troubleshooting in a production / industrial environment
Available to work all public holidays except Christmas Day, New Year and Good Friday
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol Test
Strong background in maintenance, servicing and repairs would be highly regarded but not essential as required training will be provided
