We are an Australian Food Manufacturer supplying a wide range of products around the country. We are currently seeking experienced and self-motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our maintenance team on a full-time permanent basis.
- Trade qualifications in an Engineering stream or similar
- MIG, TIG welding capability looked upon favourably
- Previous experience in performing planned and reactive maintenance
- Be involved in machine modifications to adapt them to the production requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with analytical thinking and a logical decision-making ability
- Experience or knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics will be an advantage
- Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment will be looked upon favourably
- Disconnect/reconnect would be looked upon favourably but not essential
- Current Forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to understand Work Health & Safety obligations and abide by them
Be part of an out of hours on call roster (due to built in redundancy of our equipment there are very few times this is required)
Ideally, you will have experience working in similar positions and hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting of manufacturing plants and equipment.
