About the Job
The Rail Services team at Mader are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for workshop based roles, reporting to our valued clients workshop Supervision. Successful applicants will be joining an exciting new team of Rail and Rollingstock specialists throughout Perth, WA and Australia wide.
You will be responsible for the following tasks;
- Undertake breakdown troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs
- Install, inspect, test, commission and servicing of plant and equipment
- Component diagnostics and change outs
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
- Structural inspections and repairs
- Maintenance of Hi Rail equipment if required
- Adhering to industry standards and site safety regulations

Skills & Experience
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge & interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate strong experience & knowledge with Hydraulic & Pneumatics systems.
- Maintenance environments and breakdown/fault finding experiences in industrials environment.
