Mechanical Fitter

Harness Energy Services is a premium labour supply company connecting our clients with exceptional talent. We are looking for WA-based and experienced Mechanical Fitters familiar with FIFO work for upcoming contract opportunities with our clients working on Barrow Island on a decommissioned rig.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Work 14:14 roster but paid for travel days
• PPE Supplied
• Must be able to pass full medical
• Mobilisation from Perth Airport
• Starting rate $800 a day + super

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure that all operation of machinery and equipment is carried out in a safe manner and accordance with the manufacturers' specifications.
• Diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out necessary repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly.
• Ensure that all fuels, lubricants, gases, paints, and any hazardous materials are correctly stored and handled at the site.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of plant and equipment.
• Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Physical inspection and acceptance of delivered goods and materials.
• Adhere to HSE standards and procedures.

It is preferred you have experience with:

• Hydraulic Power Units
• Diesel Generators
• 300 Tonne Cranes
• Decommissioning Crane Platforms

Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) (Must Have)

1. T BOSIET - CA-EBS
2. MSIC Induction
3. Working at Heights
4. Enter work in confined spaces
5. Demonstrate firefighting
6. Escape Chute
7. Slewing mobile cranes (100T)
8. Full Working rights in Australia
9. White Card
