We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Additional certifications such as Working at Heights, Confined Space, and First Aid.
