Skill Hire are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our clients workshop located in Spearwood.

Our client has a positive working environment with a reputation for a great work culture.

These are ongoing temp - perm roles.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, with overtime available.

A

fternoon shifts available - casual pay rates $71.00 per hour + penalties.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Experience in fixed plant manufacturing equipment - workshop based.
• Experience in producing machines and equipment by assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts.
• Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner;

Job Requirements

• Mechanical Fitting Trade Certificate
• Machining Experience
• Knowledge of machine shop practices
• HRWL - FL, EWP, CSE, Basic RG and DG

We require a strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
