Mechanical Maintainers required.

McHugh Mechanical Fabrication , Supply Mechanical Fitters, Heavy Diesel Fitters, Crusher Maintainers, Boilermakers and Operator to mining, civil and construction companies in Western Australia 

We specialise in maintaining Mobile plant, Fixed plant, and mining infrastructure, carrying out all aspects of plant shutdowns and maintenance work.

All our fitters are provided with fresh Hilux work vehicles. We are currently looking for Heavy Diesel Fitters, Mechanical Fitters, Boilermakers, and crusher operators for FIFO appointments based in the Pilbara and Goldfields areas of Western Australia. 

This will be on various different rosters depending on site, flying out of Perth. We are seeking Tradespersons who will provide a high level of experience and support to current and future clients as well as our team members.

Qualifications & experience

• Recognised Australian Qualification as heavy diesel fitter, mechanical fitter, Boilermaker or experience in crusher operations
• Previous experience in heavy workshop or site environment, 
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• Self -Motivated with attention to detail when carrying out allocated tasks.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & site medical testing requirements.
• Have a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work on own initiative. 
• Valid C class licence.
• Strong ability to problem solve and attention to detail.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Maintaining production equipment & performing unscheduled repairs
• Maintenance of minor and major repairs of all equipment
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all plant on site to ensure maximum output
• Working closely with Workshop Supervisors 
• Ensuring all safety compliance and administration adhered to
