We are currently seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintainer to join our Maintenance and Engineering team and is a great opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team. This is a permanent position, offered on a 14 days on, 14 days off, 14 nights on, 14 nights off roster FIFO from either Perth or Geraldton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Regularly inspect the existing electrical installation to ensure it meets and continues to meet statutory and site requirements;
- Ensure all aspects of the mine electrical tasks are conversant Australian Standards 3000, Western Australian Electrical Regulations and Mines Safety and Inspection Act 2020 (WA);
- Carry out a JHA and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for electrical maintenance tasks as required;
- Gather plant information from technical manuals, drawings and directly from components (serial numbers, dimensions);
- Enter Work Order completion information into Pronto, collecting and entering timesheet data.
- Able to work in an underground mine.
What we are looking for:
- Electrical workers license ‘A’ grade (Western Australia);
- Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation
- High voltage operators ticket;
- ‘C’ class driver’s license (unrestricted);
- Current First aid certificate;
- LV rescue certificate;
- High Risk Work Licence;
- EWP, Forklift, Bridge & Gantry Crane, Working at Height, Confined Space, Gas test Atmospheres;
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings;
- Experience in calibration and stroking valves
- Experience in maintenance and fault finding activities
- Experience maintaining and operating critical instrumentation
- Brownfield modifications
- Show an understanding and continual development of understanding of the job at hand;
- Able to use GG maintenance software (PRONTO).
