They are experts in plant maintenance, engineering services, fitting, machining, structural fabrication, heavy mechanical, in-situ machining, plant installation and onsite services. These skills are embedded through comprehensive on the job training for all the staff.
Your new role
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their Drouin team. Duties of the role include:
- Heavy equipment, stripping, refurbishment, reassembling to OEM standards
- Service, inspection and reporting
- Milling machines, presses, line boring, CNC lathe, CNC mill
- Working on CAD design equipment
- Programmed maintenance services
- Specialised workshop and onsite equipment machining
- On-site refurbishment
- Recycling
- Install and commission / plant relocation
- Gearbox rebuilds
- Pump overhaul
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Machining experience
- CNC experience desirable
- Experience in gearbox rebuilds
- Manual machining on mill and lathe
- On-site maintenance experience
- Well-rounded with ability to MIG weld
