The Position

We are searching for a Mechanical Manager who will be responsible for:

Responsibilities 

• Monitor & ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with H&S requirements;
  1. Conduct / attend Pre-start meetings & Toolbox talks
  2. Review Safe Work Method Statements
• Prepare tenders and contract bids for activities that will be subcontracted
• Coordinate internal labour resources, subcontracting and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
• Oversee the standard and progress of subcontractors' work
• Operate and implement coordinated work programs for the Mechanical activities
• Liaise with Designer, Client Representative, Authorities (including submission of plans and building inspection) for the MEP activities
• Ensure adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience
• Tertiary qualification 

Skills and Knowledge

• Background in Mechanical Engineering disciplines
• Strong communication skills with team, Subcontractor, Client, Authorities
