G.S Mechanical is looking for a front desk Mechanical Service Advisor to join our team. G.S Mechanical is a busy workshop in Whitebridge, NSW. We are looking for the right candidate to coordinate our workshop by dealing with our customers in a friendly and professional manner. Our workshop has a long term customer base, who constantly recommend us to their family and friends.
About the role
We are looking for someone with mechanical knowledge to manage our front desk, deal with customer enquiries, organise quotes and prepare invoices.
Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but not essential. Competitive remuneration package applicable, to be negotiated with the right candidate.
Responsibilities include:
- Dealing with customers, other team members and suppliers.
- Answering customer phone and email enquiries regarding services, repairs and bookings.
- Addressing customer requirements and queries and relaying them to the workshop team.
- Managing the daily flow of repair orders and service bookings.
- Processing supplier invoices and taking customer payments.
- Co-ordinating future maintenance requirements with customers.
Applicants will need to meet the following requirements:
- Friendly and polite phone manner with a focus on customer service
- Exceptional communication skills
- Be hardworking, reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have your own transport and current NSW driver's license
- Knowledge of Mechanic Desk would be highly advantageous
- Strong computer skills
