Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve coordinating service appointments, providing accurate estimates, and maintaining excellent communication throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities: -
● Customer Interaction:
○ Greet customers warmly and professionally.
○ Responding to enquiries via phone or email.
○ Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
○ Provide clear explanations of repair options and associated costs.
○ Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs.
● Appointment Scheduling:
○ Schedule customer appointments based on availability and urgency.
○ Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
○ Maintain loan vehicle records and availability for customers.
● Estimates and Invoicing:
○ Prepare detailed repair estimates for customers.
○ Explain estimates, including parts and labour costs.
○ Generate accurate invoices and process payments.
● Parts and Inventory Management:
○ Order necessary parts and track inventory levels.
○ Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
○ Maintain organised records of parts usage.
● Quality Assurance:
○ Conduct quality control checks on completed repairs.
○ Address any customer concerns promptly and professionally.
○ Strive for high customer satisfaction ratings.
● Social Media
○ Build on an existing social media presence on platforms Facebook/Instagram.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
● Proficiency in using automotive software for estimates and invoicing.
● Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
● A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
