We are seeking a Mechanical electrician to join our Modular Solutions team in Yatala, QLD.
The role
As a technician you will carry out the fabrication, installation and commissioning of quality solutions for our clients. The role is split between the workshop, project sites and client operational sites. Our projects are usually executed between 6 to 12 months and our aim is to complete most of the work in our workshop, so site time is minimised. Therefore, site activities are generally a week or so at a location and then we move on.
Key responsibilities:
- Fabrication of modular equipment skids
- Installation of process equipment
- Commissioning of process equipment
- Identify opportunities for sales and business development site activities
We are looking for
- Current Certificate III Engineer (Fitter and Turner) OR electrical, instrumentation or plumbing qualifications
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Literacy and numeric skills
- Be able to read and interpret from electrical and technical drawings
- Customer service focus with strong communication skills
- Be able to work both autonomously and part of a small team
- Ability and willingness to take responsibility for the job and its outputs
- A positive attitude especially when working under pressure and organising work priorities to meet deadlines
