Mechanical Trade Assistant

The role will see you work with qualified mechanics to customise fleet's of heavy vehicles for our clients customers.

Client Details
Our client is a vehicle processing centre for fitting and customising heavy vehicles to customer specifications. Based in Dandenong South they have a strong and dedicated team who specialise in providing a high quality service of fit outs to trucks and buses.
Description
You'll be part of a team that assembles parts to New Commercial trucks and buses.
Working in a spacious service area, you will work alongside a qualified mechanic to fit and assemble parts to the heavy vehicles.
Profile
We are looking for people who have the following skills / attributes:

• A strong mechanical aptitude
• Sound written and verbal communication
• Meticulous in detail of work
• Must have experience with hand, power and air tools.
• Possess a strong work ethic
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Experience as a mechanic and/or automotive assembler will be very highly

Job Offer
These positions offer immediate start and 5 day working week in a clean and safe working environment, great casual pay rate and potential for both a long term or even permanent role.
Both Day and afternoon shift are on offer - Day shift - 7am - 3pm Afternoon Shift 3pm - 11pm.
