Maxwell Recruitment are excited to announce an opportunity for skilled and dedicated Trades Assistants to join our team for a shutdown project at Eraring Power Station, starting on September 1st.
This role requires a combination of skill, physical endurance, and attention to detail.

About the Role:
As a Trades Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shutdown process. The work is skilled but also physically intensive and repetitive at times. Your commitment to safety, reliability, and diligence is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Fitters and Boilermakers in a heavy industrial environment.
- Perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks as needed.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience: Previous experience on heavy industrial projects and/or shutdowns is essential.
- Tickets: EWP (Elevating Work Platform) and Forklift tickets are highly desirable.
- Certifications: Holding a current Working at Heights certification is advantageous. Assistance for obtaining this certification can be provided through our onsite RTO.
- Work Ethic: A proven track record of reliability, with positive references emphasizing punctuality and dedication.
- Interview: Candidates will need to attend an interview.
- Testing: Completion of a Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test is required as part of the onboarding process.
- Availability: Candidates must be available for the interview and D&A test between now and August 19th.
