Benbri Air & Fluid Systems is a locally owned and operated company within the Mackay and Coalfields region. We primarily work in four main areas: Lubrication, Hydraulics, Refuelling (Hydrocarbons) and Pneumatics, across several industries including mining and the private sector.

We offer a range of systems from fluid dispensing and pumping products including air compressors, hydraulic pumps, cylinders and motors, hydraulic tooling repairs and calibrations, automatic lubrication systems, hose reeling systems, fuel and oil meters and fast refuelling and oil service technologies.
We sell and repair many major brands, and are the nominated Hytorc repair agent in Queensland, as well as being an authorised repairer for Kaeser Compressors, and Edmo Jacks and Stands. We are licenced by NMI to carry out repairs and calibrations of fuel pumps and meters for the mining and retail sectors.
About the Position
Due to ongoing expansion in our workshop and onsite work, Benbri is looking for a keen and energetic Trades Assistant / Tradesman to join our team.
This position is responsible for supporting the service, maintenance and repair of our customers existing equipment both in the workshop and on various mine sites. Trade experience is preferred but not necessary.
The right person will have the opportunity to work on and be trained up on some of the leading products used in the mining industry and workshops throughout the Bowen basin and Australia.
Skills and Experience
- Mechanical fitting experience preferred.
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (S4) are preferred.
- Current mine site inductions are favourable.
- Willing to attend training courses as and where required.
- Good written, verbal communication and computer skills and the ability to provide accurate and complete service reports and timesheets.
- Ability to work within a team environment and interact with clients in a professional manner.
- Current class 'C' Drivers Licence
- Risk, Safety and Hazard identification experience would be an advantage.
