A Media Sales career at CQ Today is fast paced, varied, and can lead your career anywhere.
It is a role that will see you utilise account management skills, secure new business through outbound sales of print and online advertising solutions, liaise with design & production and exceed customer service expectations.
We are in a period of expansion and are looking for the newest member of our sales team based in Rockhampton.

As a division of Today News Group, Queensland's largest independent news media company, our CQ Today office services newspapers in Rockhampton, Gladstone, Longreach and Emerald along with other publications across regional Queensland.
The Position
This is an advertising sales role that will see you contacting business customers, finding true need, and delivering results that will ensure your success.
The position is based in Rockhampton and full training is provided so this could be the break you have been waiting for!

The Applicant
If you have sales experience, then we want to hear from you. It does not matter what industry you have gained your experience from; some of our best people have come from retail, working face to face with customers, or call centre environments. We are looking for career minded salespeople who are ready for a challenge & possess:
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B selling experience
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills & the ability to learn in house software
• Motivation & a desire to achieve financial success
• A positive attitude and remain calm under pressure
• Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
