FixBIOME https://fixbiome.com.au/ is a gut health supplement company that was founded in 2022. The company was started when the founder saw a gap in the market for gut supplements and information. Having struggled with her own debilitating gut issues, despite access to top-line medical/pharmaceutical care, she still struggled to find information and products that worked in the emerging field.
If she faced this issue, she knew others would be facing it much worse. The founder created an educational blog that made complex medical stuff easy to understand (doctor-reviewed) and spoke about the issues she was facing.
Evolving from this, FixBIOME products were then developed by a team of incredible doctors, naturopaths, and formulation experts after intensive R&D. FixBIOME reengineered how supplements are made, creating something designed specifically for the gut.
We have a small but passionate team that’s focused on scaling and building a brand that customers love. We have sold out 5 times since launch and have a forever-growing return rate. We intend to become the leading gut supplement brand in Australia and beyond, with the UK and USA being strong markets.

About You:
Are you a Media Buyer who eats, sleeps and breathes Facebook but also loves marketing strategy? Do you have some experience and a decent understanding of Google? Are you looking to grow and expand in your marketing career with a rapidly growing start-up?
We are an eCommerce direct-to-consumer gut supplement brand (Patent pending) looking for a hybrid candidate that will involve media buying as well as marketing management. This role is completely remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage Facebook campaigns and budget in line with the financial objectives of the business
- Meet ROAS/aMER targets
- Work closely with the creative team to introduce new creatives to the ad accounts and test
- Create on-brand and engaging ad copy after becoming familiar with brand tone
- Create and work with the team to test different angles and creatives
- Manage budget and set up of google, google merchant and google shopping (Facebook is the key focus here, but knowledge here is preferred)
- Become trained in email marketing if not yet already- Utilizing klaviyo
- Work closely with the team along with the fractional CFO to figure out ad budget, discuss performance and make sure we are achieving scale as efficiently as possible while managing stock levels across our different markets (we have tools built for this)
- Understand our margins in different markets and available inventory to make sure we are spending each dollar as effectively as possible
- Set up testing frameworks and organisational systems with our VA’s around marketing efforts
- Willingness to learn and take charge of how we source and engage with creators and influencers in the space
- Creating and scripting ad copy for creators
Key Skills You'll have:
- History managing a Minimum of 50k per month in ad spend, ideally up to 300-500k
- History of scaling up ad accounts in the eCommerce space and proven track record
- Experience with creating marketing campaigns and funnels
- Obsession with learning about Facebook's best practices and following the thought leaders in the space
- Experience with different bid strategies to achieve financial objectives
- Incredible organisation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and analytics
- Great copywriting skills
- Willingness to learn from some of the experts in the Ecom industry via mentorship as part of your onboarding process
- Ability to structure A/B tests
- Strong analytical skills and experience making data-driven decisions
- Understanding of user experience & behavioural analytics
- Technical skills across Google Analytics, Paid Media channels, Klaviyo
- CRO knowledge
Must have
- Minimum 3 years experience with Facebook media buying
- Proven track record scaling up ad spend with eCommerce DTC brands
- At least some level of experience with Google
Nice to have:
- Relevant business or marketing degree
- Knowledge of both woocommerce and Shopify
- Email marking and knowledge of Klaviyo
- Experience running and scaling Google accounts
