About the role:
As the Media Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our supplier funded program, leveraging your media knowledge and expertise to drive sales and enhance brand visibility. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, serving as the primary contact for our valued suppliers. Your strategic mindset and strong communication skills will be essential as you partner with marketing and merchandise functions to execute impactful campaigns. We're seeking an entrepreneurial leader with a background in Media Sales who can take our strategies to new heights!
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise across key media channels and drive supplier investments.
- Identify opportunities through retail trade or Media Sales experience.
- Partner with stakeholders to execute strategies and support the broader supplier marketing team.
- Manage key areas of the marketing team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Foster regular and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee end-to-end trade and media initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and media professionals.
- Drive sales to budget and KPIs, adapting to new channels and managing budgets effectively.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a tertiary qualification in Marketing/Media, although equivalent experience will also be considered. With a minimum of 10 years in the media industry, including at least 5 years specifically in Media Sales, you will demonstrate superior communication abilities, impeccable time management skills, and an innate solution-oriented mindset. Attention to detail and a commercially minded approach are essential attributes for success in this position.
