The Role
Applications are invited from qualified and experienced classroom teachers for a specialist role teaching Media and Art. Commencing Term 2 2024, we currently have a Term 2 only, fixed term full-time opportunity based at our Wheelers Hill Senior Campus.
The successful applicant will have a strong emphasis on Media and Junior Secondary Art. They will be able to showcase a deep commitment to captivating and motivating students while effectively integrating modern learning technologies into the classroom. As a member of our team, you will embody a genuine enthusiasm for learning and possess the ability to instil this passion in the hearts of our students.
Key Duties
- Review and assess students at the beginning of each program to provide a flexible program that caters for individual students.
- Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn.
- Model high expectations to enable a safe and supportive classroom culture.
- Evaluate personal teaching and learning programs including feedback from students and assessment data to inform planning.
- Design and deliver conceptually driven, student-centered learning activities using Formative Assessment Techniques.
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
- Connect positively with students and show genuine care for their learning
- Demonstrate commitment to professional development
- Media experience is essential
- Art experience is advantageous
- Experience in Adobe Applications required
- Teaching qualifications
- Current VIT registration
