About the Role
MLER Case Manager is responsible for medical entitlement reviews to determine appropriateness of Medical and Like Entitlements, engage workers & providers, complete decision process & draft outcome notices. Coordinate and facilitate case conferencing and team review with IMA’s and Technical Manager’s to develop case management action plans.
Required Expertise
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in medical entitlement reviews
- Strong working knowledge of Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 2013 and associated Regulations, and/or a Legal Qualification
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Decision making, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with different IT applications
- Manage all claims in portfolio ensuring timely response and appropriate treatment
- Cease benefits as appropriate
- Ensure file notations are made consistently as required
