Due to continued growth they are in need of a Medical Device Equipment Specialist to join their team. The role will cover a territory of Maitland – greater Newcastle and upper Hunter Valley and is servicing clients within the community and primary care sectors. The role is varied in nature and a customer focus is the highest priority so the organisation can maintain its position as a market leader.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintain existing accounts while also identifying new business opportunities
- Assist clients with general inquiries regarding product suitability and availability
- Provide product demonstration and training
- Manage your own client contact cycles
- Attend regular inhouse product training sessions to ensure you stay up to date with diverse product range to best serve your customers
- Promote and sell all products in an ethical manner that best meets your customers’ needs
- Proactively respond and coordinate tender responses
- Ensure “Loan Stock” for trials are properly controlled and administered
- Ensure quotes are actively followed up and pursued
- Maintain customer records and progress reports
- Inspect and report defective equipment in accordance with company policy
We are seeking candidates who possess the following traits and experience:
- Candidates with a sales background or a keen interest in the health/medical sector are preferred
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written and someone who thrives being out in their community
- A proactive approach to work
- Enthusiastic self-starter who can build effective relationships
- Possess a positive, and customer focused attitude
- A team player that can add value in a dynamic business culture
